Jacek Misiurewicz


Jacek Misiurewicz was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1965. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from Warsaw University of Technology in 1988 and 1996, respectively.
Since 1988 he has been in the Institute of Electronics Fundamentals (now Institute of Electronic Systems) at Warsaw University of Technology on the posts of a teaching assistant and assistant professor in the area of digital signal processing. He was involved with several research and development projects, granted from the Polish radar industry, in the area of digital processing of radar signals. His interests include nonuniform sampling problems, MTI filtering and filter design, SAR and PCL technology, Compressed Sensing in radar, as well as programmable logic applications and real-time programming.

He was a member of an Organizing Committee of National Circuit Theory conferences in 1991 and 1992, and International Radar Symposium (IRS) in 2006 and 2008. He also served as a reviewer for scientific journals, notably IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, and as a TPC member for radar conferences: IRS since 2008, Fusion 2011 and 2012, IEEE Radar Conference 2008.

He is a member of IEEE since 1993 (SM since 2003), he served as IEEE Poland Section Newsletter Editor in 1998-2004.
